Jurong East is among the planning areas in Singapore. It is a residential town which borders Clementi, Tengah, Bukit Batok, Jurong West, Boon Lay, and Selat Jurong. It covers 17.83 square kilometers with 84,000 people according to the 2015 census. The area is further divided into ten subdivisions for administrative purpose. The development of the town commenced in the 1970s when other neighboring planning areas were being built. Several sections of the Teban Gardens, Bukit Batok, Yahua and Bukit Gombak were combined to form Jurong East.
There are more than eight primary and secondary schools which are located across the region. Other social amenities include sports centres like Jurong East Sports and Recreation Centre and more than eight leisure facilities like Jurong Lake Park, Jurong Park Connector, and Jurong Country Club among others.
The region has three main tourist attractions which include the Science Centre, Snow City, and the Chinese Garden. The Science Centre specializes in exhibiting and promoting scientific exhibits and also provides technical education to the public. It boasts of over 850 exhibitions which attract more than one million tourists every year. Snow City is the country’s first indoor snow facility. Visitors can experience sub-freezing climates and high snow slopes in the facility. The Chinese Garden was built in 1975 by an architect who featured architectural characteristics with nature. The location of the Chinese Garden and the environment boast of a very serene view which attracts a lot of tourists annually. Jurong East is connected to the other planning areas and the rest of Singapore by major highways like the Pan Island Expressway and Ayer Rajah Expressway. The other roads in Jurong East connect to the highways through the city. Public transport buses are favored by the numerous roads interconnections. Jurong East is well known for tourist attraction facilities which include the famous Science Centre, Snow City and the Chinese Garden which rake a lot of revenue to the region. There are also numerous leisure facilities which also attract visitors. The housing sector and transportation system also play an essential role in boosting tourist activities in the area.

I received wonderful service from Jimmy. He reached our location at the agreed timing and proceeded to analyse the situation with our broken lock and explained how he will fix the problem. When we enquired more on the different lock models available for replacement, he was not pushy and explained the pros and cons of each model. In the end, we selected what we thought suited us best. Great & prompt service and I feel very lucky that I found this shop from google! Our main door lock suddenly got spoiled which caused unable me to get in the house on sunday morning. I was exhausted and tired after long walk and grocery shopping. They promptly helped to open the door and replace new one at reasonable price. Not over & hard selling and it's in fact cheaper than other 2 places that I compared. They explained well whats wrong and how they are going to fix it. Keep up the good work! We were very happy and pleased with David's service. He was very focussed and professional, managed to pry our door open in less than 5 minutes. He even offered us advice on how to ensure that we dont end up locking ourselves out of our bedroom again. Takes pride in his skill and he went the extra mile to help me tighten my wooden door (screws were loose due to fair wear and tear), my padlock and even helped me drill a hole on the floor for my wooden door side panel to secure the door. Fast and efficient service, arrived in my house in 30 minutes and finished unlocking the door in 1 minutes time. I am glad that I am still able to use this door lock after unlocking the door lock. Really recommend for emergency door-unlocking.
